Happy Ramadan 2025 to all who celebrate! Ramadan Mubarak
Is extraterrestrial life possible in islam (Life that exists beyond earth)?
The Quran and hadiths mention stars multiple times, emphasizing their significance.
"By the sky and the nightcomer – And what can make you know what is the nightcomer? It is the piercing star." (Quran 86:1-3)
"And He placed landmarks and by the stars they are [also] guided." (Quran 16:16)
"And it is He who placed for you the stars that you may be guided by them through the darknesses of the land and sea." (Quran 6:97)
"Indeed, We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment of stars." (Quran 37:6)
There is even a specific reference to a star in the night sky, Sirius (Al-Shiʿrā):
"And that He (Allah) is the Lord of Sirius." (Quran 53:49)
Given that stars are commonly referred to in both the Quran and hadiths, should there be a dedicated page on this wiki about stars and their significance in Islamic scriptures?
Its quite sad that we today don't make Qurans like this but I could be wrong
Why is it so inactive? I came from dinopedia and its really active
السلام على من اتبع الهدى اسمي قاسمي الحسني محمد عبد القادر جزائري ومسلم
Matthew 24:36: “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” If Jesus is God or another version of Him, then wouldn’t Jesus know the Hour since God is omniscient?
Matthew 26:39: “Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.” Jesus is praying to God, showing that Jesus is not God nor the Son of God / God the Son / The Logos Incarnated. Even if he is, then it would not make sense of “God praying to God” as there is only one God, and God praying to God is a polytheistic thing, not a monotheistic thing.
Mark 10:17: “As Jesus started on his way, a man ran up to him and fell on his knees before him. “Good teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?”
Mark 10:18: “Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered. “No one is good—except God alone.” Jesus says that he is not good and only God is good. If Jesus is God, then he wouldn’t need to say anything.
Mark 11:13: “Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to find out if it had any fruit. When he reached it, he found nothing but leaves, because it was not the season for figs.” Since a Deity is omniscient, how could God the Son (Jesus) not know if there is fruit on a tree?
John 17:3: “Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.” It shows that there is not three Gods and only one God and Jesus Christ is His Messenger (therefore a Prophet).
Another thing is what YounusArchives calls the The Creator of the Universe Laws:
Law #1: Has No Limitations
Fails because of how Jesus who is meant to be God has exhibited clear limitations in more than one instance. An example being is Mark 11:13.
Law #2: Is Independent from the Universe (i.e is outside of; and can exist without it)
This also fails because of how Jesus was physically on planet Earth and was born from the Virgin Mary, as a result, his existence was caused by something else.
Law #3: Is Singular (Monotheism), since more than one of these entities would be paradoxical
This one also fails since another key belief in Christianity is the Holy Trinity. The Holy Trinity does not make logical sense (i.e. [SIMPLIFIED] 1+1+1=1[?]) and was not further explained nor expanded on in the Bible. Because of this, many Christians have rejected the concept of the Holy Trinity (i.e. Mormonism) in favor of either Nontrinitarianism or Unitarianism.
Ramadan Mubarak! How does one celebrate Ramadan?
Skip eating and drinking during the day. If you celebrate Ramadan, you're not supposed to eat or drink from sunrise to sunset. That includes water, any type of food or liquid, and things like gum.
Fasting isn't just about not eating. It's about learning to have sympathy with others, learning self-restraint, and giving to others in need.
Fast from negative behaviors, too.
Rise early for the morning meal.
Break the fast with friends and family.
Also, the fast is usually broken with a dried date or two.
The evening meal that breaks the fast is called the iftar.
Decorate for iftar.
Eat halal at Ramadan, as you do throughout the year.
Offer the special prayer after iftar.
Visit the mosque for prayer.
Give to charity.
Happy Eid-ul-Adha 2023
Eid Mubarak!
Dhul Hijjah is expected to begin on 19 June 2023.
The Day of Arafah will fall on the 27th of Dhul Hijjah, and Eid Al-Adha will be on the 28th or 29th of Dhul Hijjah, depending on moon sightings.
In the lunar calendar, Dhul Hijjah occurs at the end, making it the last month of the Islamic year. This month is extremely important as Allah (SWT) has immensely blessed it. The believers who engage with good practices and avoid sins are eligible in obtaining these many blessings and rewards.
As well as fasting, there are many other forms of worship that we can engage with, such as dhikr, feeding the poor, reading the Qur’an, praying nafl and sunnah prayers, and giving charity for the sake of Allah (SWT).
Im an islamic expert tell them and i will answer
(INSHALLAH)
I've been intrested by BFDI (an object show series) which basically is about random objects like that competing for a prize, And which, i want to make one too, So is making an object show haram? or is it allowed?
There's like a ton of kids in my Islamic private school telling me that drawing is haram and I get shamed and told to 'go to hell' whenever I'm drawing and minding my own business. Are they right?
There are lots of moslem in my country (Indonesia) but lots of them having girlfriend/boyfriend, but my parents said it's actually not allowed (I never date anyone too, alhamdulillah), and teachers in my school doesn't allow it too
If you meet the Prophet Mohammad in your dream, shall you immediately believe it? Or should you match the person that claims to be the Prophet Mohammad in your dream with hadith that describes what does he look like?
My teachers saying that jinn can't imitate Prophet Mohammad's look, but now, he's already gone, and no one ever seen how does he look like, and I think, who knows, maybe it's jinn?
can anyone answer this please seriously I always think about this question these days
